Chamber MUSIC Institue

This is open to 6 Advanced Pedal Harp Students, along with violin, viola, cello, flute, bassoon, and oboe students.

This Chamber Music Institute provides an opportunity for young musicians to collaborate in chamber music settings with other talented students while under the coaching of professional musicians and instructors. The Chamber Music Institute musicians will be nurtured to raise their musical awareness in chamber ensembles and to communicate this through the language of music.
In the mornings, harp students will work with a specifically assigned teacher for both private coaching and group coaching with the chamber group they are assigned to.  Full time harp festival registrants will participate in the rest of the festival events in the afternoons and evenings.  A brown bag lunch Chamber Music Institute performance will be Friday, July 25 at noon.

Deadline for the Chamber Music Institute Registration is May 31, 2008.

Music will be assigned and bought by the students when they have been accepted
