Registration Now Open! The 2008 Festival Registration Form is now available here in a PDF format.  (The registration form requires the free Acrobat Reader software.  If you do not have Acrobat Reader, download and install it here.)  The Solo Competition Registration Form is also available.

This festival is open to students of all ages. Children (with accompanied parent), youth, teens, adults are all invited to join us for this non-competitive week. The main emphasis is camaraderie, ensemble, (new) chamber music institute with solo performance opportunities, master classes, private coaching, harp maintenance,  Pizza/Swim Night as an ice breaker, and  workshops taught by our outstanding clinicians.

New! Need to trade, downsize, or upgrade your harp?  Present through part or all of the week will be a few harp vendors with various lever and pedal harps for sale.  A block of time for each vendor will be given to present their merchandise. The day and evening activities also include an Opening Concert performed by the clinicians, Solo Competition Winner’s recital, Student Chamber Music Recital solo competition,  a special chamber music concert by renowned harpist Elizabeth Richter, and a culminating ensemble concert on the last day. This year’s  Banquet will be held off campus.

For students traveling more than 800 miles (one day's travel away), we have a small amount of rental harps . We will again have our popular harp music and accessories store with merchandise from Melody's Music, Vanderbilt, and Lyon & Healy West.

No frills, affordable campus housing is available or you can stay in the Hilton Tulsa Southern Hills for special festival rates.

The Basic Rate for the whole week's activities (includes all day rehearsals and workshops, lunch, Pizza Swim, Opening Concert, Banquet) is $410. Not included is Solo Competition participation (see Solo Competition page), Master Class soloist ($35), extra Banquet Tickets ($25), Store Merchandise, and Harp Rental ($75/lever and $150.00/pedal). A limited amount of 45 minute private lessons are available from the clinicians at $50 each.

Our resident harp technician is Peter Wiley, formerly of Lyon & Healy.  Peter is a member of the Lyon & Healy/Salvi Technician’s Guild. For more information you can visit his web site www.harpdoc.com
